It was easy to run his hands over Caitlin's back when she pressed up against him. Tilting his head down, Byron pressed a kiss against the top of her head before giving a small laugh at what she said. "I'm glad my talents in the bedroom are appreciated for as long as I can lift things," he teased. Byron had, of course, agreed to help, and he did think he was probably capable of carrying heavy things with more ease than Caitlin. Pulling back, Byron reached down to take Caitlin's hand, giving it a squeeze as he did, before turning towards to where he assumed the other rooms were.
"Lead the way, then," he told her tugging on her hand. Once they got to the bedroom, Byron let go of Caitlin's hand so he could take a seat on the bed. For a while, Byron just watched Caitlin put things in boxes, since there wasn't anything for him to lift helpfully. Then he realised that she was just putting books in boxes and he could probably help with that. So moving off the bed, Byron went to sit down next to a pile of books, pulling one of the empty boxes close so he could start putting books in them. "I assume there isn't an order," he commented, flipping one of the books over to read the blurb about it. Well, he was attempting to help, that had to count for something.
