Higgs was not a fan of going to the Post Office. He wasn't sure anyone really was since it mostly just involved queuing, but Higgs somewhat suspected there were people who enjoyed that plenty. The problem with going to the Post Office after work was that everyone else had the same idea, so the queue was ridiculous. Higgs had been half tempted to just turn around and walk off, but he wanted to send letters to his Muggle friends, which was the only reason he hadn't used his personal owl. At least the Post Office was usually pretty good at sorting between magical and Muggle post. The only problem was the queuing.
Well, the only problem had been the queuing until Higgs realised he was queuing right behind Weasley. The last time they had spoken had been over owls, when Weasley had--well, Higgs wasn't sure what. Told him off? It had been an odd exchange and Higgs hadn't been in the best of mindsets at the time. Not that a great deal had improved since then, but he'd like to think that maybe it had at least a little. Still, Higgs never really knew what to say to him. Not saying anything, though, was rather ridiculous.
"Weasley," Higgs greeted instead, ignoring the other man not really an option when they were most likely stuck in this queue for a forever more and especially in such near proximity. Perhaps Higgs really should've opted for coming back early tomorrow morning.
