Fred knew that it was probably strange that he'd offered a drink to Higgs, but George's and Alicia's feelings weren't his own. While he valued his brother's opinion as well as his friend's opinion, he didn't think that it was right to just write Higgs off for one or the other. Fred liked to base his thoughts on someone off of his own interactions with them. Thus far, Higgs hadn't done anything to him to warrant any ill will. He laughed at the response, the smirk amusing him. Yes, it was odd, but Fred didn't really care, honestly. If people wanted to bitch about it, they could.
"Sounds good," he agreed with a nod. Next week was fairly open and he had no objections to penciling in a drink with Higgs somewhere in there. "Just let me know when you're free and we can figure it out from there." He laughed again when Higgs said he'd feel honored. "You should," he told him with a smirk, sticking his nose up teasingly in the air. "I'm gracing you with my illustrious presence, after all."
