Higgs followed the queue when it moved, nodding when Fred confirmed that his shop did do very well. It was pleasing, Higgs thought, to see a business succeed. It hadn't been too long since they'd set it up. He wasn't sure when it had been, but it was certainly a shop that Higgs was sure plenty of them would've enjoyed to have around when they were in school. "Well, there are a lot of you," Higgs commented. There really were. Higgs wasn't sure he even knew how many, but he knew at least a few of them.
"Your sister's engaged to my best friend," Higgs explained, not sure if Fred would be aware of Higgs' close friendship with Marcus. "And I've met Charlie through Oliver," which, actually, perhaps wasn't the best of conversation topics right now. Higgs had been saddened at learning of their break up, if only because he felt responsible for pushing the two towards each other with the letters he had shown Charlie months earlier. "And obviously, George and I have met," Higgs added almost with a tone of humour.
