"Not completely identical," he told him. "I'm far more attractive, of course, and my sparkling personality is hard to miss." He was teasing Higgs, of course. He knew well and good just how identical he and George were. They used it to their advantage and the disadvantage of everyone that they knew more times than he could count and probably would continue to do so for the rest of eternity.
He shook the man's hand, not about to be rude and not take it when it was offered. "No," he agreed. "It's been quite a while." There hadn't been much chatter between the two of them but that was no fault of Higgs or of himself really. "Yes," Fred said as he dropped his hand to his side again. "Just finished up there," he explained. "How've you been?" He knew that was probably a shit question to ask and immediately felt bad for it. "Sorry to hear about you and Alicia, by the way," he added as an afterthought. "I do hope things have been looking better after all of that."
