Fred was running a few errands on his way home which was the reason he was in the post office waiting in the queue with very little patience. Not that he really had all that much patience ever. He usually used an owl for most things, but there was the occasion that a trip to the office was necessary. Unfortunately.
The sound of his name caught Fred's attention and he turned around to see who'd called him. It was Higgs. He knew him, of course, but he hadn't expected to see him. He wasn't sure what to say to the man now that he was stuck in line with him. He'd greeted him, though, so the least he could do was return said greeting. "Higgs," he replied somewhat cheerily. "Not George, by the way," he added because sometimes that needed to be said, especially when faced with the soon-to-be former husband of a once object of his brother's affections. Fuck that was confusing. Normally he would have just pretended to be George like he usually did to make the other person confused and to end up having a laugh with his twin later on, but he decided to spare Higgs — and himself — of that for now.
