"Yes, the game was excellent," Higgs nodded as he watched Gladys fetch a scarf before they could take the walk down to the seafront. "I assume you listened to it?" He asked since it seemed likely. Their nan had always been very good at following their careers. Obviously, it was much easier with Gemma since you could just listen to it on the radio. Once she was ready, Higgs let her lead them towards the path. It was a nice day and Higgs thought it'd be a lovely walk by the seaside. He would've hardly objected to staying in but presumed they could both probably use the walk. Though he did have to slow down his pace, Higgs hardly objected when the company was so great.
Looking over at Gladys, Higgs gave her a smile. "So how are you finding the journals?" He asked curiously. It had been an interesting new invention, had helped him a lot when he'd just returned. In fact, Higgs had made friends with Lydia because of the journals, so he would hardly consider them anything but an excellent thing. Having his nan on them was also pretty great, since it meant he could write to her much easier. That and Higgs was sure she'd find them entertaining, especially with the amount of allowances it gave to meeting different people. Not that Higgs doubted Gladys couldn't do that anyway. She was, after all, excellent.
