Some days were better than others, was what Higgs was quickly discovering. He'd gone to his first support group meeting on Thursday evening. Higgs was incredibly glad that Pippa had agreed to come with him. It wasn't as if he had said anything at the meeting, but just listening to other people's experiences had been... difficult. As much as Higgs tried to push himself into accepting that his head was somewhat of a mess, it was still difficult and listening to other people and how they both did and did not cope with similar problems had been interesting. Higgs hoped that maybe it would help, in long term, but currently he felt rather odd about the whole thing.
Earlier on Sunday he'd gone to see the Falcons play their first game of the season, pleased when Gemma had ended up keeping her promise and ensuring an interesting game. It helped, of course, that the Falcons had won it, too. Higgs hadn't really hanged out much after the game, leaving his sister and Marcus to celebrate with the team rather than interfering. Instead, Higgs had apparated to Barmouth, to see his nan. He felt it had been too long since he'd last seen her, which was really just a shame.
Knocking on the door, he waited patiently until she opened it, then grinning at her widely. "I've come for all the promised ice cream," he informed her in a form of a greeting before smiling wider and pulling her in for a hug. "It's good to see you," Higgs added once he had pulled back.
