Who: Byron Farro and Arran Wood.
What: Playing arcade games.
Where: An arcade, probably in a bowling alley, somewhere, UK.
When: Wednesday 7th September, late afternoon / early evening.
After a post-training shower, Arran apparated to the address he'd given Byron, and spotted his friend already there waiting. "I'm not late," he said immediately, only then checking his watch to make sure. "Four minutes does not count as late. You're just early." Maybe the minute hand was closer to six than four, but Arran wasn't going to admit that. Why make it easy for Byron to give him a hard time? He checked his pockets for his wallet before they headed inside. He wasn't sure whether he'd need muggle coins or to buy arcade tokens, but either way he was prepared. "So how are you?" he asked. "Still no crises, I take it?" He could have told Byron off for missing his birthday, but Arran figured there was little point.
His own crisis was... well, ticking over, Arran supposed. He'd asked Roger the most important question, in his opinion, and been rewarded with pancakes. He just wasn't sure where to go next. The other questions were... harder. At least Arran had started with a simple yes/no. Roger might refuse to answer anything more complicated. Or the answers might be painful. But none of that was what Arran intended to be thinking about today. He'd left his journal at home so he wouldn't think about it, and so Hermione couldn't challenge him again until later.
