Their nan definitely was good for all the tea and Higgs supposed a stay by the sea was the sort of thing people recommended each other when they were unwell. And in a way he was. Whether a near proximity to the sea would fix that was questionable, but Higgs liked to visit his nan anyway, so there was that.
As their food arrived and Gemma began explaining her dream, Higgs' eyes widened. It was... a lot of detail. Dreams didn't usually have that much detail did they? Or at least Higgs' dreams didn't tend to. "Well, that's--nice?" He offered. "It sounds nice," it did. And Gemma had introduced it by saying it had been pleasant, if strange. "So this Regulus? He's a real person, right? Not just a dream person?" Higgs asked carefully. The way Gemma spoke of him certainly made it sound like he was. "Are you dating him?" Higgs added with a small frown. Not at the idea that Gemma might but at the idea that he hadn't been a good enough brother to notice. Higgs knew he had had plenty of things to sort through in his life at the moment, but he hoped that didn't mean he had been so ignorant as to not notice his sister had started a relationship with someone.
