Gemma was glad for the brunch even if she was as unsure as her brother as to who's idea it was. She'd admit to herself that she had kind of been avoiding him without actually really avoiding him - mostly just avoiding talking about a particular thing, which she had since talked about with Regulus and she'd survived that, so she could probably tell her brother now.
"Excellent. Well, I'll make sure Marcus knows so the team doesn't disappoint you by being less thrilling than watching paint dry," she replied as she sat down across from Higgs. "Naturally. It's all well and good practising but actually playing for real is way better. Although having you watch is quite exciting too, obviously."
Reaching for her own menu she looked it over briefly before looking to her brother. "What about you? How's everything?" she asked. Not that she was particularly worried or even concerned any more than she normally would be when asking after someone.
