Neville couldn't help but snort a little at Evan's words. Daisy certainly wasn't property and it wasn't the eighteenth century. Harry's opinion on the whole matter didn't really hold much weight. As much as it bothered Neville that it was upsetting to Harry for whatever reason it was that it was upsetting to him, it didn't change the fact that he cared very much for Daisy and had for quite some time. In some ways, he was a little annoyed that it seemed such an aggravating thing to Harry. It made him feel like Harry didn't think he was good enough for his sister and Neville did what he could to try to be good enough period. "I appreciate the blessing," he told him. "But you're right, it doesn't really make much of a difference. Blessing or otherwise, I was always going to stick with Daisy."
"Animals are good too," Neville said, glad to move the topic right along. "I like all sorts of plants, but I'm especially interested in the ones that are used for medicines. It's really quite fascinating the different properties plants have."
