Arran / Lottie
Whether he had to or not, Arran felt better for apologising. "I know," he agreed. It really didn't make him feel better either that Celia had punched Roger. "I still want to punch him," he said. "But at the same time, I don't." It was a mess - all of it. "I just never want to see her again," he added. He didn't even want to hex Cariad, he just wanted to cut her out of his life forever and completely - which he'd been able to do easily enough, and Arran had never been more grateful that she hadn't been involved in quidditch. His feelings towards Roger were a lot more complicated.
At Lottie's question, Arran shrugged the shoulder she wasn't currently resting on. "I wish I knew." He wished he knew if there was anything anyone could do. Unless Lottie had the ability to make it all never have happened - and Arran was fairly sure she didn't - he couldn't think of anything. "Tell me I'll sort it all out, eventually?" he suggested. Maybe if Lottie believed it, Arran would start to believe it.
