"Rodger," she couldn't help but groan out as she listened to him talk. She really couldn't believe her friend did this, especially to Arran of all people, his best friend. HAd she been holding Roger to too high of standards all these years? Sure she knew he wasn't good for herself but she had always hoped that someone out there would make him happy. He seemed smart enough to not do completely idiotic things, or so she had thought. Her heart really broke for both of them, at the loss of their friendship, but more so at the moment for Arran, because that had to be one of the hardest things to hear.
Before she could even respond to his statements she shook her head and downed the shot and grabbed a lemon slice. Maybe she didn't need a lot of alcohol tonight. "I know and I totally agree with you that Arran deserved someone better. But he was in love with her, and that was what should have been the most important." She shifted on the couch so that she was sitting sideways, facing him. "Did you sleep with her just to show him that she was a bad person? I guess mission achieved but at what costs?" Shaking her head, "How did it even happen?"
