"I suppose it's maybe a safety thing perhaps?" she said, the statement sounding like a question since she wasn't sure if she was right or not. "It does seem that way. I think... well, if he were more careful he might've chosen a different performance for us to see that was maybe a bit more appropriate for a date," she responded, before shaking her head negatively at his question. "No, I don't think I have that I can remember. I know that uh Xavier has but that it didn't um go very well..."
Mary-Anne didn't quite know what to think about that bit of knowledge but she wasn't surprised to find out that Cedric had an ex-girlfriend or had even dated before. He was good looking and also very nice, so it'd be very strange if he hadn't dated anyone before. "Oh, well, it's nice that she let you know that she'd signed you up," she pointed out. "My boss at the store where I work part-time had signed me up but had forgotten to tell me she had." She smiled. "That's good thinking. I uh imagine it would've made her training perhaps a bit awkward if that hadn't been the case..."
