"Yes," Cedric agreed, because the shoe was found, and that meant he should go and get on with his day. Cathy would probably cheer up if he put her in her pram, she seemed to like the motion. Or she might fall asleep, which wouldn't be a problem either. "Thanks again." He moved closer to take the shoe, deciding he might as well wait until he was home to put it on. He wasn't so sure Jun would be amused - but that was mostly because he was still trying to wrap his head around why Jun would hire a nanny without telling him.
Unable to think of anything else to say, Cedric nodded. "I'll be off, then," he explained, gesturing towards the door. "If I want to have any lunch at all, I need to -" He stopped as Cathy thumped him in the shoulder and he shifted her. Before he could continue, he spotted Jun heading towards the door of the living room. "Morning," he addressed her. "I didn't mean to disturb you, but Sergei kindly let me in and helped track down Cathy's shoe."
