"You're probably right. You would have found some way to convince me to get a dog. Not that I'm complaining. I'm fairly certain I have the best dog out there," she laughed. Sure, everyone probably thought that about their own down, but Lydia didn't care. She was extremely happy with Westley and no matter what anyone said to her, he as the best ever.
