Lydia didn't mind the line for lunch, it gave them more time to talk before they were sitting there shoving food into their face and being surrounded by tons of people who might possibly overhear their conversation in the wrong way. On the other end though, all that moving this morning did cause her to work up an appetite and whatever was cooking right now smelt positively divine.
When he tapped her forehead she couldn't help but frown. Clearly she wasn't doing a very good job of keeping her facial appearance in check very well. Possibly though, she wasn't giving Higgs the credit he deserved. Maybe he knew her better than she thought. It took her a bit to figure out how she exactly wanted to word her thoughts. Finally though she sighed and just spoke, "You told Alicia you wanted a divorce after being gone for two weeks. While I'm not going to critique your timing I just don't understand." Looking up at him she bit her lip in confusion, "You said you are doing it for her or something?"
Shaking her head she didn't know what else to say, "I thought things were getting better with you two and then this happened. Higgs I'm just trying to comprehend. I've somewhat heard her side, I want to hear yours as well if you are up for it."
