Evan nodded along when Caitlin explained how you could be groupie without shagging the band, which was probably just as well if she wasn't going to sleep with Ken or Mary-Anne. Evan, however, was going to carry on sleeping with Andrew, but that was neither here nor there in the grand scheme of being a groupie, because Evan had every intention of doing that anyway. Picking up a bunch of buckets, he threw them in the trolley with the wood, before beginning to pick some spades. You needed a variety of sizes for different sized sandcastles, so spades were very important.
At Caitlin's words that she'd just have to find someone else to sleep with, Evan looked her up and down. "I'm quite sure you'll manage," he informed her. Caitlin was very pretty, Evan had no doubt she would be very successful at finding appropriate bedfellows. Or perhaps inappropriate, if she wanted to. "You can always try your luck with other bands," he teased her. There had, after all, been plenty of other bands at the festival they had gone to. Chances of others being more available than the Quake members were high.
