Grabbing his arms she laughed, "Yeah we can't have Oliver going after you for injuring me. I trust you though, I highly doubt anything dangerous will happen here." Just to put them on any fake equal footing she replied back, "i'll also try to save you from anything dangerous as well, but I am way weaker than you are so it doesn't really provide the same level of comfort I assume?" Oh well it was still an entertaining thought.
Lydia thanked him for buying her ticket, it was a sweet gesture and she had totally intended on paying for herself even though he invited her. She looked around at all the signs everywhere and looked confused. A witch lived here? Well that was absurd, but she very well couldn't blurt that out loud. They weren't in the Middle Ages anymore people!
Following Arran into the cave she looked over at him at his question. "You've been busy actually enjoying life and doing things for fun yeah? There's not reason to feel bad about that, Arran! You only get a limited time off anyways. How's training going?" She smiled as she looked around, this was actually very cool. "I'm doing well," she answered, "In that whole transition at work which is very exciting. It is going to be challenging in the beginning but in the long run very good for me." Okay Lydia, stop talking about work now. "George and I went on a holiday to Greece and Italy and oh Merlin it was gorgeous. I wouldn't mind having a holiday home down there."
