"Definitely," Oliver responded with a smile. "That'd be nice," he added truthfully, because whether things were a touch strange with Charlie right now or not, Oliver still desperately wanted to spend time with his best friend. As much as he always felt like he could be a better friend to everyone he knew, somehow whenever he actually was hanging out with Charlie that thought left his head. There was just an ease with which Oliver could engage with Charlie, that he honestly never felt with any of his other friends. Suppose, perhaps that was why they were best friends and had been for so long.
The outside was cold, just as Oliver had predicted, and for a moment, he joined Charlie in just watching the way their breaths froze on their way out of their bodies. The alcohol was clearly having some effect on Oliver, as he doubted he'd find it very fascinating other wise. "Well, I guess this is it," he finally said, turning to Charlie with a smile.
