Neville knew that no truer words could have been spoken. Hermione had been his best friend for so long that imagining a life where she wasn't right there was just impossible. It wasn't something he ever planned on letting his brain wander to because it just wasn't going to happen. No matter how things turned out with Daisy, he knew that Hermione was always going to be there to pick up the pieces if they needed to be picked up and to cheer them on if things went well. That alone was enough to make him feel pretty positive about the situation no matter its outcome.
Neville nodded. "It'll definitely be a start for the clumsiness at least," he told her with a smile. He watched her as she moved to start some tea and nodded at her mention of Daisy's parents. "There is that," he agreed. "Though it's still a little odd now that we're dating or whatever. I mean not having to go through the whole meeting for the first time thing is definitely a plus." He was still nervous about what they'd think of him dating their daughter, but he supposed they'd cross that bridge when they got to it. "They're really great, though, so I don't think it's going to be a problem. I hope not, at least."
