George probably should have just left it alone. Whatever had happened, it wasn't really his problem, was it? Or it shouldn't have been. But he was making it his problem because that's just how it worked. Alicia had been too important to him for too long to just let her talk crazy without checking. He felt better knowing she was with her sister, but until he heard a definitive word from someone or saw for himself, he wouldn't trust that she was okay.

So there he was, storming the terrifying fortress that was Ashleigh Spinnet's home. He knew full well that she didn't much care for him and that maybe this wasn't his brightest idea of all time, but maybe her presence would add a layer that meeting Alicia alone wouldn't have. Anything to make this discussion as honest as possible. Lydia knew just where he was and he believed she trusted him, but it was still a tricky place to be for all involved.

After being let in and directed where to go, he knocked softly on the door that stood between him and Alicia. "Hey, can I come in?"
