Caitlin shook her head. "No," she told Mary-Anne. "It's not a terrible answer. It's the truth, I'm sure. These are your band mates," she said, glancing around at the others as they went about their after-a-set motions. It was crazy that she was even standing where she was standing, but she could put herself in Mary-Anne's shoes and realize that they were people she saw every day and had seen every day for quite some time now. Caitlin hadn't wanted to pounce on her friend the moment she'd been welcomed into the band like a nut. She'd only just barely restrained herself, really.
She nodded. "It was," she agreed. "He really is quite nice." The fact that Evan had left her for Andrew really didn't bother her. She couldn't blame him, after all. Andrew was quite handsome, after all, and who didn't like a hot drummer? "I'll catch up with him later on," she said with a shrug. "I'm sure he's having fun." She had never been more sure of something, actually.
The offer for company was lovely and Caitlin smiled. "That would be great," she said, nodding. She couldn't help but be thankful for the offer, really, because she was starting to realize most of her friends were quite statuesque and that certainly kept her from getting trampled in the midst of the festival. "The festival has been great so far but I'm sure I haven't seen half the things that are out there."
