It was really a depressing way of life, Olivia thought. Being alone and secretive for as long as it seemed Osgar had been was just a shame, really. He looked to be quite a lovely man, handsomeness aside. He'd been very kind in their short time chatting and was well-mannered.
"We all have our secrets," she told him, nodding. She had plenty of her own. Secrets that would probably make him turn up his nose at her. Still, she couldn't help but wonder if perhaps she should make an effort to tug the man out of his comfort zone. "Perhaps you should try to get out for a breath of air," she said.
