They probably could put some enchantments on the dishes. Or at least the mugs. Those seemed to suffer the most. So Hermione nodded. "I'll look into it," she confirmed. Hermione liked magic. She liked figuring out how to make things work with magic. Or improve things. That's why it had been so exciting last month to help Bethanie with her TV. And if Hermione had managed that, she could definitely manage some protective charms on a few mugs. Presuming they still had mugs left by the time she got around to doing it.
Standing up, Hermione gave a small laugh at Neville's words that he couldn't possibly provide her with a mirror. In the grand scheme of things, Hermione thought, this was fair. She walked over to the mirror in the hallway instead. "Oh, Neville, that looks lovely!" She announced. It really did. If his passion for plants ever diminished, Neville could definitely become a hairdresser. Reaching for her wand, Hermione cast a preservation charm on her hair to make sure it stayed that way for as long as possible. Walking back over to where Neville was, Hermione pulled him in a quick hug. "Thank you."
