Aisling had offered, insisted really, to take Laurel shopping. This was not because she felt like Laurel needed new clothes, hardly. No, in Aisling's world, retail therapy was very important. She did realise that Laurel wasn't exactly sad, but meeting Axel and Toby after such a long time, dealing with what it meant to be from a family that had so easily discarded its children, well... Aisling didn't think anyone would be in a particularly good mood with all of that going on. So, of course, shopping was the best way to make everything, if not better, then certainly more enjoyable.
Last time Aisling had taken anyone shopping it had been to have Andrew a suit made and as much as that had been fun, Aisling was looking forward to going to shops that sold nice dresses that she could try on and not just suits for men. Besides, Aisling was also looking forward to getting to know Laurel better. She had known Axel and Toby since they were all kids at Hogwarts, so Aisling was curious to see what their baby sister was like, even if they hadn't all grown up together. Though, they had been raised by the same parents, so perhaps that was something.
Having arranged to meet Laurel at the bottom of the stairs at Panquake house, Aisling glanced up when she heard a noise, giving the girl a smile when she spotted her walking down. "I was thinking we could apparate to the Leaky? Walk into Muggle London from there?" Aisling offered. "There's some great shops I'd like to go to," which, of course, mostly meant expensive and posh, but then, Aisling suspected that perhaps Laurel wouldn't object too much to that. Whilst one of them might've been pureblood and the other Muggleborn, they did share being brought up into money. "I'm excited," she informed Laurel when she finally reached the bottom of the stairs. "The boys aren't terribly fun to go shopping with," even if she had enjoyed getting Andrew a custom made suit. Still, not quite dresses.
