Bill drew in a breath as she pulled back, his gaze focused down on her as she looked up at him. His head tilted slightly into her hand on his cheek, taking in the way she was cradling it and how her thumb brushed over the marred skin beneath it. He was used to seeing the scars when he looked in the mirror, but it was different when someone touches them - almost like it made them more real somehow. That hardly mattered at the moment.
He turned his head to brush a kiss against her palm before looking down at her again, smiling softly. "Well then, perhaps we should go someplace not in my living room where there are windows just anyone passing by could see through..." It only took a split second and the popping sound of apparating to find them upstairs on the soft mattress of his bed instead, and he leaned in to kiss her softly. "This okay?"
