Finished with her onion, Ashleigh nodded. Not wanting to eat was a more physical symptom, it wasn't unlikely that St Mungo's would be able to give her something to help. (Frankly, even if they'd been able to remove information from her brain once it was there, she wasn't sure she'd have wanted them to. That was the only thing worse than having the information there in the first place.) Ashleigh didn't like visiting healers, but she did acknowledge that they were the correct resource on any number of occasions. "You're probably right," she admitted. "I've been putting it off, hoping it will just go away." And refusing to admit how much of a problem it was. "You're a very helpful sounding board, Terence." Aisling would, doubtless, have told her to take action, if Ashleigh had actually let her know the extent of the problem.
Ashleigh would have liked to ask how Higgs was finding the 'trying again' process, but it had always been an unspoken rule that she didn't interfere in his relationship with Alicia. At least, not from his side. As much as she cared about him, and she did, she couldn't be objective when it came to her sister, so giving advice would be unfair. "I certainly hope you both enjoy it," she said instead. Even though it wasn't her idea of a good time, she still wanted them to find it pleasant. "You don't have to bring me anything, if you don't want to spend time shopping. I'm not very good at pretending." Frankly, she thought Alicia probably understood her taste better than Higgs did, through no fault of his own.
