Hearing the mention of a garage apartment made Fred smile. As much as he'd love the idea of spending the rest of his days living fairly close to George, he doubted that he would actually be able to. George, though, seemed to have figured out a way that maybe it would be possible. "Well, maybe there'll be two houses beside each other somewhere," he offered with a smirk. "Just in case the garage apartment bit doesn't work out."
It wasn't until George mentioned girls that Fred realized just what he'd said. He'd not mentioned Rosa to his brother just yet, mostly because he hadn't been certain it was serious enough to warrant a mention. Now, though, he wasn't so sure. He quite liked the woman and he had high hopes for where the relationship was going. And he'd mentioned her name so it wasn't as though he could really get away with not explaining. "Since not too long ago," he said. "A few dates by now, I guess," he shrugged, playing it off a little. "Did Lydia bring back as many souvenirs as you did?," he questioned, redirecting the conversation.
