"Oh, but it was that bad," he whined, squeezing George back just as tightly for good measure and not letting go for a very, very long time. "The only reason that it's standing is because I dragged myself out to make sure I didn't flood it with my tears," he teased. When he finally pulled back, he grinned at George. Pleased to be reunited with his twin, he finally felt all put back together. The last two weeks hadn't been absolutely awful, of course. He'd gotten to spend time with friends and with Rosa, but he'd still missed George desperately.
"So, how was it? Tell me all about it," he grinned. "Are you hungry? I'd have made food, but then the place really wouldn't be still standing," he laughed. "So I ordered in instead," he went on, waving towards the table and the bags of food that were there. "Your favorite, of course. Figured if you weren't hungry when you got home, you could always have it for later."
