Fred was thrilled when George finally burst through the door. Amused by the reaction and the fact that his brother's big mouth had only gotten him a mouth full of confetti, he laughed at the whole thing. His laughter left him decidedly off guard when George decided to pick up a large bouncing ball and fling it at him. It hit him square in the forehead and ricocheted across the room, bouncing several times before finally rolling across the floor.
That only made him laugh more.
"Okay, maybe I deserved that," he said, still laughing as he moved towards his brother. "Alright, hurry up and drop all of this... stuff," he demanded. "I need a proper hug since you've left me alone for half a month." Because, of course, half a month sounded far worse than only a fortnight.
