Hermione's simile didn't really make a great deal of sense to Bethanie, but she returned the smile any way. She didn't want to risk sounding stupid by not understanding, and it was possible she didn't really need to comprehend the exact image Hermione was going for. "It really seems like they should cover this at Hogwarts, or at least offer it as a short course, or something. I can't be the first person to want to use both magic and muggle technology." Probably there was a book, or many books, but as Bethanie hadn't even been sure it would be possible it really seemed like the information could be more widespread than it currently was.
Bethanie nodded. If she'd lived in Hogsmeade, she probably wouldn't have even attempted to make a television work. "More complex, but not impossible?" she asked, interested. After all, she might move to a magical area one day. She certainly didn't want to rent forever, and there was no longer anything particularly keeping her in Inverness other than it being fairly cheap. "Right, tea!" she said, remembering. "How do you take it?"
