Gilderoy // Aisling
"Yes," Aisling nodded, not bothering to specify that the yes applied to Gilderoy reminding her of her family rather than her being very nice in saying so. It wasn't a compliment, but then, pointing that out would be terribly bad practice, so Aisling chose to let him believe that she was, in fact, being nice. Besides, it was rather amusing. Gilderoy did remind her of her family, but there was certainly a class division between him and Aisling's family members, which made the comparison so much more amusing.
Aisling listened to Gilderoy speak, giving a small 'oh' and 'ooh' whenever appropriate. He certainly seemed to enjoy talking about himself a lot. "That's very nice of you," she commented when he said he had recommended the events organiser. It was a nice thing to do and seeing how the event seemed to be running very smoothly, that recommendation was clearly a good one. Finishing her first glass of wine, Aisling reached for the one Gilderoy had bought her, standing up as she did so. "It's been delightful to talk to you, Mr Lockhart, but you'll have to excuse me, I feel I should locate my friends," Aisling said offering a hint of a smile. "Perhaps we'll run into each other again," Aisling added having no actual intention to seek that contact out. "Have a good evening," she told him before walking off.
