Gilderoy // Aisling
Rather than pointing out that the people Aisling had met named 'Gilderoy' were hardly babies or small children, Aisling only nodded and smiled. It seemed needless to point out that 'Gilderoy' was just an old fashioned name and if there was one thing the upper classes, muggle or otherwise, loved it was an old fashioned name. Aisling gave another small and rather polite smile when Gilderoy informed her that he was not here to discuss business but rather support the event. That seemed like a fair claim, even if Aisling wasn't sure he knew enough to upkeep a conversation about business.
The utterly fake laugh made Aisling give an honest one. "You remind me of my family, Mr Lockhart," she told him honestly because he did. Albeit, majority of Aisling's family members would have been slightly better at sounding self-obsessed, but only slightly, which still made her feel rather at home. "Many events on which you're the focus, are there?" She asked politely. "Book signings, I imagine," since he was a famous author. "And you had a gala, yes?" Aisling recalled seeing talk of that, too. "Sadly I was unable to attend, I trust it was a lovely evening?" Not that Gilderoy seemed likely to say that it wasn't even if it would be the truth. His falseness really was rather refreshing.
