Lily laughed. "Yes, I think I will. 'Welcome home, my darling, your things are just where you left them, I want to take off the roof.' I think that will work very nicely for me." She didn't think James really object too much, if at all, but she felt she should be a little more tactful than that.
She considered this and then nodded. "Yes, I suppose I do," she replied, "he has been very much like a close brother to me." Remus had always been one of her favorite people, and perhaps he had become a bit of a replacement for the sister she had all but lost, but there was very little she didn't hare with him.
"Of course!" She said. "He is important to you, so he is welcome as long as he is comfortable." She knew the young man had... difficulties with comfort around Evan's family, and while she understood it on a technical level, she wondered what she could do to make it easier.
