As much as presents did seem a great benefit of doing a 'we're no longer separated' party, Evan didn't want to seem like he actually cared whether his parents had one or not. Because he really didn't. "Don't do one because I suggested it," Evan told Lily with a frown. "I just want you to be happy and if you are, then that's good enough," he assured her, before biting his lip and giving Lily a slightly teasing smile. "Even if you are by-passing new toasters and kettles," he noted.
Evan did give a laugh when Lily said that perhaps her and James could do without a talk since she had only gotten pregnant twice. "A lot more," Evan repeated mockingly, bumping his shoulder against Lily's. "You spoken to my siblings about it?" Evan asked curiously. "Not sex," he corrected. "Don't do that, they'll just be awkward," Evan had no doubt. "But about you and dad moving in back together? Prim will be thrilled," Evan commented honestly. He was sure that so would his other two siblings, but Prim was probably the one with the most of a romantic streak.
