At least one thing Evan knew for certain, his estimates of what the cost might be would be much cheaper than if Lily had gotten someone else in to do this. For one, he was hardly going to charge her for his own work, and for another, Evan knew what the materials actually cost. Still, it'd be nice to budget something that wasn't Daisy's tree house, where the main issue with budgeting was how much money Evan could afford to spend on it. Which never was as much as he wanted to. "Awesome," Evan nodded. "We'll do that," he confirmed, already making plans of how he needed to redesign the blueprints.
When Lily blushed at his question, Evan couldn't help but laugh. "Bit fast, isn't it?" He teased. "What's next, mum, you going to marry him?" He added, before a slightly more serious expression appeared on his face. "I'm glad you're happy," he told her honestly. Unlike his siblings, Evan had never cared for whether their parents were together, but he did always care for whether Lily was happy. "We'll have to have a--" a family dinner was where Evan had been going with it before his eyes widened slightly. Of course they would. Except Harry wasn't talking to Evan right now and Evan didn't know what--well, he just didn't know. "A party, perhaps?" He settled on instead, because at least that would be easier to deal with. Much easier to bail on, too.
