Evan had never been on bed rest before and he strongly hoped he'd never be again. Andrew's bed was lovely, but Evan preferred to have the option to actually leave it, especially when Andrew wasn't in it. It wasn't completely awful, especially since Aisling (what a stupid way to spell a name pronounced 'Ash-ling') kept bringing Evan tea and had given him interesting books. Then again, she did also keep coming in and fluffing his pillows every few hours and Evan was very dubious of her claims that it was helping his healing process. Evan was pretty sure the healing potions were doing more work than the fluffy pillows, but it seemed a bit rude to point that out when she was clearly trying to help. Unfortunately, the fluffy pillows weren't doing much to make Evan feel less bored.
The healing potions were clearly helping because as the day went by, Evan felt less and less achy, even though there was still a soreness in his body. Tomorrow would probably be worse, because he'd feel better but would still be trapped in a bed. But Andrew didn't work on Fridays, did he? So perhaps the whole bed rest thing would work in his favour after all. And he'd be done with the book Aisling had brought him, so he could tell Andrew all about whether there were or were not magical beasts that lived alongside the dinosaurs.
When Evan had asked Daisy to visit, he had very much hoped she would. It was odd, because normally Evan wouldn't have even questioned that his sister would come and see him but--well. Right now Evan was a bit suspicious of what his relationship with his siblings was like. It seemed unfair, to think that, but then, Evan hadn't exactly expected Harry to do what he had done either. So when there was a pop from the apparation resounding in the room and then Daisy appeared, Evan smiled at his sister excitedly. "You came!" He exclaimed. "I've been so bored, Daisy," Evan informed his twin. "Bed rest is the worst," he announced because it was.
