The hospital made Tonks antsy. It was an odd thing, particularly considering that she was there so often that she had a working relationship with many of the medi-witches and wizards and could tell immediately when they redecorated in the waiting areas. Being an Auror would do that, though. And Tonks being..well, Tonks..did it too. But all the same, it made her antsy. Specifically when she was in there for someone other than herself. And with Sirius well taken care of, what with the rotating army of caring friends and family there to assure that he stuck around for all of his tests, Tonks took the chance to get away and get some air. Since finding her journal once more (and catching all the flak from both her mother and father) she'd taken to keeping it with her, allowing her to catch Remus muse about old wive's tales and the actual truth to them. Which led to joking about as they often did, which in turn led to ice cream. Good things always led to other good things.
She had gone from worried and dulling colours to admittedly still worried but bright colours within the span of the conversation, and was smiling to herself when she Disapparated from St. Mungo's over to Fortescue's to pick up the ice cream. What kind of problem couldn't be solved with something sweet? After choosing her flavour (triple espresso with a promise to report on her opinion) and choosing lemon with dark chocolate topping, she popped from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade. Humming to herself, the pink-haired witch closed the distance between herself and the door she was aiming for.
Tapping at the door, Tonks looked down at the bag she was holding and got all proud of herself. She didn't drop it once! Didn't trip either! That made, for people keeping score at home, this current round of Tonks v. Gravity a solid 1 - 0 in her favour.
