Draco appreciated Lottie's attempt at comforting him even if it was almost distracting enough that he almost paused in his tale. "I think it was as much out of fear as it was love, at least that's the feeling I got," he commented.
He honestly hoped that he didn't possess that kind of evil. He knew that the biggest difference between him and this other Draco was that as much as he looked up to his father he was trying to be someone that was nothing like the man; with the hope that maybe one day he'd be seen as his own person rather than just Lucius Malfoy's son and heir.
In an almost mirror movement Draco reached up with his right hand to lightly brush back Lottie's hair. "I'm pretty sure that, evil or not, I really don't deserve you."
