He wasn't sure what had happened with George's ear, but he let the subject drop if only because he didn't seem to want to talk about it.
His reaction to the teasing, however, went over like a fart in church. Fred sighed when George got up and dumped his food and plate into the sink. "I'm alright, Georgie," he told him, setting his food aside for the moment being as he refocused his attention on his brother. "I was just teasing. How do you think I feel? I felt it. All of it. Every single thing." He knew it wasn't the same. Being the one who died wasn't exactly as horrible as being the one that witnessed the situation. He couldn't imagine his life without George and was certain that his twin felt the same. "But I'm alright. It was just a dream. A shitty nightmare, but it wasn't real no matter how real it felt."
