Andrew did try to look nice, always. Even when his hair wasn't done and he was in a tracksuit, he didn't think he looked awful, he just didn't look as nice as he'd like to. It wasn't entirely fair to say it was for Evan, because Andrew felt like he needed to look good for everyone, but it was definitely important that Evan think he look good. Otherwise, Evan wouldn't be here. Obviously, he wasn't going to say that. He had a feeling Evan would deny it, because he'd feel like he should, and Andrew didn't want that. He much preferred when Evan was honest with him, it was one of his favourite things about Evan.
The smile when he offered to do Evan's hair was amazing, and Andrew pushed his fingers through it a little more, toying with it in a way he rarely let himself. "You're already pretty like me," he said, just as teasingly. Obviously, Andrew found Evan attractive, or he wouldn't be here. Even though he didn't think it was a proper costume, Andrew was entertained by the idea of Evan dressing as him. And it was better than wearing a nametag that sad 'god', for a lot of reasons. "Do you want to take some drumsticks too?"
