It wasn't like Evan would ever stop someone else from dressing up. He didn't hate costume, especially not when Andrew seemed so keen on wearing it. But Evan also didn't really get it. Pretending to be something he wasn't made Evan feel extremely uncomfortable and it was hard to correlate that feeling with the idea that other people really, really enjoyed costume parties. Nonetheless, though, Evan was also rather sure that if Andrew had tried to make him go in costume, Evan probably would have given in. "I feel odd when I have to dress up," Evan settled on saying. "Like, even as a kid, I just felt so--" he paused briefly, giving a shrug. "Uncomfortable, I guess? Like I never know how you're meant to behave when you're not... you?" Evan wasn't sure whether that was really in any way a useful explanation but it didn't make it any less true to him. Then again, Evan also couldn't really imagine himself ever intentionally being over the top.
Evan couldn't help but give a laugh when Andrew told him that the real thing was right there. Turning his head, Evan pressed a kiss against Andrew's lips, pleased to have found them so close. His hand settled just above Andrew's belt buckle, so it could easily slip up under his shirt, across the muscles outlined so well in the picture. "It's much better in real life, too," Evan assured him, licking his own lips as he pulled back from the kiss. He looked back at the album, faced with another naked picture of Andrew. They were nice pictures just-- "I guess, they're just not my favourite pictures of you?" Evan offered with a shrug. They were lovely and hot and he was hardly going to deny that, they just weren't... something.
