Lydia was very grateful that Higgs hadn't brought up the Gringotts break-in. Many people had been talking to her about it and sometimes it was frustrating. Everyone had their own theories about who it was and Lydia frankly didn't care. The only thing she cared about was the fact that they caught the guy. She had fully healed physically, she wasn't that damaged, so people could stop babying her. So to have someone who didn't automatically bring it up, it was refreshing, and she appreciated it.
At the mention of the fully raid Lydia couldn't help but smile. She had a feeling Higgs had enjoyed that quite a bit. She knew how much her friend loved all pets and the chance to be around anything of the sort probably made his day. "I'm sure that was a pleasant surprise instead of drugs yeah? Are you going to try and keep some once everything is wrapped up? Marcus would love that," she chuckled at the thought of their house filled with puffskeins.
When he asked about her day she couldn't laugh and nodded. "Actually it was very exciting, but not exactly to do policy talk. With the World Cup going on, some of the Members tend to get a little rowdy, which gets entertaining for us workers. But in regards to actual policy and discussion, nothing all that exciting going on." Lydia loved her job, really she did. However she was aware that to most people it sounded horrendously boring so she usually didn't go in to much detail, and sometimes she just wasn't allowed to. With the terrorist attacks and the war in the Middle East beginning, a lot of the reports that arrived on her desk had confidential information.
