This ought to have been sent last week when I wanted to cheer you up after hearing what had happened. Except when I asked my mother if I could gift one of her plants, she asked why and then insisted it had to be the best possible one. Which meant waiting this long for it to be 'perfect'; she's very particular about not gifting anyone one of her orchids that looks less than perfect. ~~I guess I wanted it to be perfect for you too~~

I'm sure you'll manage, but would it help if I assured you I won't be too disappointed if you don't? I didn't tell her not really anyway. I think she may have assumed when she didn't recognise your name as being one of my female friends. If I had told her I would then be trying to somehow tell you that she wants to meet you, but that didn't happen. And you're welcome, I'm glad you like them.
