WHO: Daisy Potter, Remus Lupin
WHEN: Monday, after classes
WHERE: Monkshood Cottage
SUMMARY: Daisy breaks in, but it's okay. She brought baked goods.
RATING: Low
WARNINGS: Book Nerds
STATUS: In Progress
So far Daisy liked being a cursebreaker. Alright, she was technically a trainee cursebreaker, but the title was still in there somewhere so she was technically right. What they didn't tell you, when they made the big speech and highlighted all the cool aspects was that there was paperwork and practically assigned reading, neither of which was Daisy's particular forte. Don't get her wrong, a good book was always the most constant of friends, but she preferred to read books of her choosing. As soon as something popped up on a reading list she practically lost all interest. Still, there was reading to be done. Curses to research. History to brush up on. She could have done that easily at one of the libraries in Hogsmeade or Diagon, but neither of those places particularly liked it when you brought in tea and kicked off your shoes. So, with those two options no longer appealing, Daisy headed over to the one place where all three criteria could be met. She let herself into her godfather's house. It technically wasn't breaking and entering if she had a key. Plus, she had a Cock-a-Leekie pie with her. When in doubt bribe. Daisy left the pie in the kitchen under a preservation charm and wandered to where the books were kept. Or, more accurately, the books pertaining to today's particular interest. She was comfortable in the space, unperturbed that she had made herself at home without the Cottage's primary occupant. After all, this was practically her second home. Or third. |
