CODE BY TESSISAMESSWhile we are not prone to speculate on those who have fallen ill, we can't help but wonder when there may be implications for the Quidditch World Cup. Over a week ago, it was reported that Phillipa Flint collapsed in a local bar in Diagon Alley [name withheld to protect the business] and was rushed to St. Mungo's, and as far as we are aware she hasn't been seen since. A source inside St. Mungo's wouldn't tell much, other than stating she was unresponsive and they were still trying to determine what exactly landed her there. Curious.
While we wish Ms. Flint the best and a speedy recover, we are left wondering how her state may cause distractions for those on a couple national teams - her brother on Ireland, and paramour Gemma Higgs on England. Are they fully focused in practice? Anyone would surely understand if they weren't, but with Ireland's first game in less than two weeks, and England's two after that, we can't help but wonder. Not to mention wondering who or what did this in the first place! Strange that someone with connections to multiple teams - lest we forget she attended the opening gala with Bulgaria's Viktor Krum - find herself hospitalized under mysterious and yet unknown circumstances during the opening weeks of the competition.
