Bolduc to join Harpies!
By Evelyn White-Wood
After weeks of speculation, one more name can be added to the list of this season's Quidditch transfers, with the news that Anaïs Bolduc is to leave the Appleby Arrows in favour of the Holyhead Harpies. As this newspaper reported earlier, Bolduc's agent (Phillip Merrick of Merrick and Merryweather) has been fielding rival bids between the teams since the transfer window opened, and the Harpies were the team to come out victorious. Our source tells us that the paperwork was processed through the Ministry yesterday, and the BIL will receive official notification once the Canadian National Team Chaser puts her pen to paper on her final contract - an event which will reportedly take place tomorrow.
Here at the Prophet, we are intrigued to see how this change to the Harpies' attacking lineup will affect their goalscoring next season - especially as they are now one of the few teams in the BIL whose three Chasers each hail from a different country. Teaming up with Bolduc at the Harpies next season will be Jessica Moran of the Irish International Team, and up and coming English Chaser Ginny Weasley, who will undoubtedly be in contention for a place on Team England at some point in the future. Could this mix of styles work well for the all-witch side? This reporter cannot be alone in looking forward to finding out.
