Jun never expected people to know sign. Obviously, people like Pippa and Cedric, they knew sign, but even that had only been in order to communicate with Jun easier. The main reason Jun signed at people, even when she knew they didn't know it or expected that they wouldn't know was so they'd look at her when they spoke. Jun did genuinely appreciate the fact that Cho made sure she did. It was much easier than physically turning people's heads so they would look at Jun when they spoke, which was something she had had to do more than Jun cared to think of.
"I'm well," she replied, pausing briefly afterwards. Jun honestly wasn't sure what to say to Cho. They weren't friends, they were barely friendly. The only thing that Jun was aware of them even having in common was the fact that they had both dated Cedric and even then, Jun wasn't sure whether that brought them closer or separated them since in many respects Jun was pretty sure Cedric's dating decisions had gone along the lines of 'I fancy a change'. Still, Cedric was friends with both of them so presumably there had to be something to Cho that Jun just... missed. "How's your work?" She asked because fuck it, what else was there to ask.
